Plastic mold is a tool for producing plastic products; it is also a tool that gives plastic products a complete structure and precise dimensions. Injection molding is a processing method used in mass production of certain shapes and complex parts. Specifically, the plastic melted by heat is injected into the mold cavity by a high-pressure injection molding machine, and after cooling and solidification, a molded product is obtained.
The plastic mold is composed of seven parts: molding parts, pouring system, guide mechanism, ejection device, lateral parting and core pulling mechanism, cooling heating system and exhaust system.
1. Molded parts
Plastic mold forming parts refer to the parts that form the mold cavity, mainly including: punch, concave mold, core, forming rod, forming ring and insert block and other parts.
2. Pouring system The plastic mold pouring system refers to the plastic flow channel in the mold from the injection molding machine nozzle to the cavity. Ordinary pouring system is composed of main channel, flow channel, gate, cold cavity and so on.
3. Guidance mechanism
The plastic mold guiding mechanism mainly has the functions of positioning, guiding, and withstanding a certain side pressure to ensure accurate closing of the moving and fixed molds. The mold clamping guide mechanism is composed of a guide post, a guide sleeve or a guide hole (opened directly on the template), and a positioning cone surface.
