Plastic mold grades are divided into grades according to production volume, product accuracy, customer requirements and quotations. Mass production molds, medium production molds, and small production molds.

  • 1. Need detailed mold structure drawing.
  • 2. The minimum hardness of the mold material is 28 HRC.
  • 3. The internal mold steel with glue position must be pre-hardened to 48 ~ 50HRC. Other parts such as row position, pressure lock, and bead should also be hardware.

  • 3. The inner mold steel is P20 (28 ~ 32HRC) or high hardness (36 ~ 38HRC).
  • 4. The remaining requirements depend on the needs.

Small-scale production of molds

  • 1. Need mold structure drawing.
  • 2. Mold material P20 (28 ~ 32HRC) can be mild steel or aluminum.
  • 3. The inner module can be made of aluminum, mild steel or other approved metals.
